Welcome to the KenUnix home page...
KenUnix a beloved fellow coder, electronics enthusiast, fan of SBCs, phone network switch technician and Air Force vet. These are his last posts on this site.
I started in computers back in 1974 on DEC PDP-11/70's running Unix and later moved on to Linux with a smattering of Windows mixed in.
Anyone interested in old Unix documents check out my site:
To download a document on the right side top of the first page click on the down arrow. If it is not displaying correctly on the top right click RAW then on the top of the browser screen click on the down arrow.
Don't get nervous it may take some time depending on the size of the file.
My first computer was a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model-I. Level-II, Max RAM, Expansion box, Two floppy drives a Printer and a 300 Baud modem.
With my next computer being a used DEC PDP-8/I with all the bells and whistles. DEC Tape drives, High speed Paper Tape reader/punch, Two ARS-33 TTY's and a whopping 12K core memory. Yes 12K, and it ran Focal, Fortran and Basic.
I really enjoyed Windows XP. To me that was the best Windows release.
I also enjoy seeing old and new computers.
