  1. 

  2. First on BBB check 'route' and set default gateway address to 192.168.147.1.

  3. See postboot.sh script.

  4. 

  5. From BBB;

  6. ping -c2 www.cnn.com if it continues to fail continue otherwise your done.

  7. 

  8. Check P.C. Windows Host side

  9. GoTo Control Panel, Network and Sharing Center

  10. Click on Change Adapter Settings

  11. Hightlight (ONE Click) BBB USB Adapter (Your Adapter may have a different name)

  12. Click on Disable BBB USB Adapter

  13. Pause

  14. Click on Enable BBB USB Adapter

  15. Pause

  16. Respond OK to warning about change to 192.168.137.1 (Your display may differ)

  17. Double click on BBB USB Adapter

  18. Click Properities

  19. Click IPv4

  20. Click Properities

  21. ==> Make sure IP Address is set to 192.168.147.1 (It's probably set to 192.168.137.1)

  22. And Preferred Name Server is set to 8.8.8.8

  23. If the address won't stick Click Advanced

  24. See if incorrect address is shown

  25. If it is Click on it and Click Remove then Click Save

  26. Click Save

  27. Click Save

  28. Double Click on WiFi Adapter

  29. Click Properities

  30. Click Sharing (On the top)

  31. Make sure BBB USB is Detected, If not select.

  32. Click Save

  33. Click Save

  34. Close all open Network windows

  35. 

  36. From BBB try ping -c2 www.cnn.com again. It should work.
