#4 EDIT and other environment commands not available in some modes

Try:

OPTION VERSION "HAARDT"
EDIT

Returns “ILLEGAL COMMAND AFTER LINE NUMBER”

This is not a “language” feature. Its an environment feature. The development environment: all editing, debugging and help features should remain available irrespective of OPTION VERSION. Think “IDE”.

HELP and EDIT are available in all VERSIONs as of commit 9ca2d013. A new version macro was add VALL, which can be updated as new versions are added.
